GyftPro, Inc. ("GyftPro," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your data when you use the GyftPro mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), and platform-specific requirements established by Apple, Google, Meta, and other technology providers.

We collect both personal and non-personal data when you use the App. This includes information you provide directly, data collected automatically from your device and interactions, and data received from integrated third-party platforms.

Information you provide includes your name, email address, phone number, profile image, shipping address, gift preferences, and event-related details. If you use our social features, we may collect the names or identifiers of friends or recipients added to your account. When you make purchases or interact with marketplace tools, we may retain relevant transactional details to support order fulfillment and customer support.

Automatically collected information includes your device type, operating system, IP address, session activity, and in-app behavior such as product views, saves, and navigation patterns. This information is used to personalize content, detect fraud, and improve overall user experience.

When you connect third-party platforms such as Google, Facebook, Shopify, Amazon, or Zendrop, we may collect your public profile information, contact details, shopping activity, or interest-based metadata. This data allows us to tailor gift recommendations, populate wish lists, and facilitate seamless fulfillment.

2. Payment Processing and PCI Compliance

GyftPro does not collect or store your credit card or payment information directly. All payment transactions are securely processed by Stripe, a certified PCI-DSS Level 1 payment processor. Stripe handles the transmission and storage of all sensitive payment data.

We do retain shipping and billing addresses submitted during transactions to enable fulfillment, generate order history, and support returns and customer inquiries. This information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to personalize your gift recommendations, manage your saved recipients and events, facilitate purchases, and deliver customer support. We analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve the App’s performance, identify popular gifting trends, and enhance future releases.

With your consent, we may send notifications regarding upcoming occasions, wishlist changes, or opportunities to collaborate on group gifts. You may disable non-essential notifications at any time within your device settings or the App.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with third-party vendors who provide logistics, analytics, payment processing, or customer support services that enable core App functionality. These vendors are contractually required to safeguard your information and prohibited from using it for independent purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, lawful request, or to protect the security and rights of GyftPro, our users, or the public.

5. AI Personalization & Transparency

GyftPro leverages AI models to streamline gifting suggestions. These systems identify patterns around stated interests, past saves, and crowdsourced preferences to produce recommendations aligned with the recipient’s personality and the event context. We do not use AI to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

We regularly review and monitor our AI systems to ensure they operate ethically, lawfully, and in alignment with the privacy expectations described in this Policy.

6. Marketplace & Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. These external platforms operate independently of GyftPro and may have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third-party services, and encourage users to review their terms before sharing information or initiating purchases outside the App.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account or specific data, subject to applicable laws, by contacting privacy@gyftpro.com.

8. International Data Transfers

If you access the App outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions with different privacy laws. We implement appropriate safeguards to protect your information during such transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us at privacy@gyftpro.com so we can delete the information promptly.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data.
